Visa Information
Visitors to the United States must have a valid visa and passport before boarding, regardless of the length of stay. As visa processing times vary considerably, visitors should begin planning well in advance of their trip. The U.S. Department of State provides detailed information, including estimated visa wait times for interview appointments.
In some cases, embassies will require a letter of invitation and a confirmation of registration (i.e. payment receipt, confirmation letter) in order to process a visa application. These documents can only be obtained upon registration to The Sixth World Conference, Addressing Imbalances: Promoting Equity in Mental Health.
After we have received your registration information and payment, you may contact the conference organizers to request a letter of invitation. This letter will declare that you have been invited to participate in the conference and that you have registered and paid the required fee.
If your subsequent visa application is refused for any reason, you may send a letter from the Embassy confirming the refusal and we will issue a full reimbursement.
Please note: the letter of invitation does not financially oblige the conference organizers or sponsors in any way. All expenses incurred during the visa application process are the sole responsibility of the conference attendees.
